After changes upon changes, we are more or less the same

I believe good old Simon and Garfunkel are wrong. But for these purposes, I think this line from The Boxer is fitting.

I was looking at recent picture of my sisters in law and I taken a couple of weeks ago outside Red Lobster, and it reminded me of a picture of us that was taken just over five years ago, when Raquel graduated high school.

Pretty remarkable, hey? Would you ever guess that in those five years we would collectively go through three graduations, two weddings, three brand new houses, and three and a third brand new babies? Crazy!

Crazy, but blessed!

Think about all the things that have gone on in your lives over the past five years, and it's amazing how thankful you'll feel after you put it in perspective.
